Week in Review

Monday I went to the Zoo with Sharon, Dave and Josie. It was such a fun day. Going around looking at all the cute (and not so cute) animals. The best part of the day was seeing the baby baboons playing together. The funniest part was seeing a male baboon mount a female and start going at it. I don't know what came over me but I just cracked up laughing. That day we also had a look around the shops in town and I bought a pink playboy bunny keychain with the playboy bunny on one side and a 'M' (for Michael) on the other, which I thought was really cool. Not only that but I finally got round to buying the Janet Jackson Damita Jo album. I've recently decided that I want to redecorate my room with a playboy bunny theme, all pink and fluffy with playboy bunny stuff around the room.



Anyway I'm going off on a tangent here.

After we were finished with shopping and the Zoo. We drove around to find a nice play to have dinner and settled on a place called Jack Rabbit. The poor waitress accidentally spilled our drinks all over the table when bringing them to us which made our table the centre of attention. The waitress was so embarrassed bless her, but mistakes happen. Then we went back to Sharon's house and I helped Josie get set up with the Mary-Kate and Ashley fanclub which she was really excited about. Had a good laugh round Sharon's then Mum came round when she finished work and we all hung out for a while then Mum and me went home.

Tuesday I had more traveling to do as I was going to the presentation day for the company I mentioned in an earlier post. I left feeling slightly uneasy to tell the truth and wasn't really feeling too great that day. I felt really sick in the car on the way home and slept for the rest of the journey. When I got home had a quick bite to eat then if was off round to Sharon's house for the evening again, another fun night followed.

Wednesday I was really tired and just spent most of the day resting, until mum got home and the we popped out to do some food shopping. I was in a really shitty mood and didn't really know why. Mum said it was my hormones which just made me even more moody.

Thursday I dyed my hair because my roots were starting to get quite bad and I thought it looked tacky. I wasn't actually planning on dying my hair on Thursday. But I was telling Mum that I needed it doing and just by chance she brought a box of colorant home with her on Thursday evening and after dinner I did my hair. It's slightly lighter than it was before, but I'm glad of that. But even with my 'new' hair my mood still hadn't improved from the day before and I was starting to feel a bit ill, and my back was absolutely killing me. Later that evening when I starting riding the crimson wave I realised why. For some reason I never know when it's coming but my Mum does.
Anyhow, yesterday I had to get up early to phone Mum in sick because she got ill in the night and kept throwing up. So after calling her in sick and seeing if she was up to having a cup of coffee with me she went off back to bed and stayed there for most of the afternoon.

Weeks highlights:
* Going to the Zoo
* Seeing the Baboons having sex
* Hanging out with Sharon Dave & Josie
* Dying my hair
* Watching The Ring (again)
* Deciding on the Playboy theme for my bedroom

Low points of the week:
* Having a crap afternoon on Tuesday
* Having the painters in (ahem)
* Both Mum and myself not feeling well
* The Judge in the Michael Jackson case allowing previous "bad" acts in (Stupid friggin Sneddon and his weak, bogus case...asshole!)
* Discovering my favourite comedian has sadly passed away



Note to Mitch:
Mitch Hedberg was a comic genius who always made me laugh. His comedy style was one of a kind. Though I didn't know him or ever meet him I was very upset when I heard he'd died on March 30th of apparent heart failure. Rest in peace to a noble man who just wanted to make people laugh, I love you x-x-x
